The Beckhoff BK1150 is an EtherCAT Compact Bus Coupler designed to link the EtherCAT real-time Ethernet system (100BASE-TX) to modular, extendable KL/KS electronic terminal blocks (Bus Terminals) at the fieldbus level. It serves as a space-saving and cost-effective DIN rail mounting alternative to the older BK1120 model, featuring an IP20 housing that is roughly 5 mm narrower.

• Terminal Capacity: Supports 64 Bus Terminals standard, and up to 255 terminals using a K-Bus extension.
• Data Capacity: Handles a maximum of 1024 bytes of input and 1024 bytes of output data.
• Interfaces: Equipped with 2 x RJ45 sockets supporting a 100 Mbit/s transmission rate over distances up to 100 meters between stations.
• Power Supply: Requires a 24 V DC (-15%/+20%) system and field supply. The integrated power contacts forward field supply to I/O components at a maximum of 10 A.
• K-Bus Current Supply: Delivers up to 1750 mA to power the communication of attached Bus Terminals.
• Dimensions & Build: Polycarbonate housing measuring 44 mm x 100 mm x 68 mm (W x H x D) and weighing approximately 110 g.
• Environmental Limits: Operates safely between -25°C and +60°C.
